Choose to be HAPPY - Week 13

Choose to be HAPPY - Week 13

I sincerely believe that happiness is a conscious choice, so I made this fun little collage as a reminder.

Sometimes with this crazy world is it hard to feel the HAPPY, but when I need it, I gather inspiration from the wise words of others.

Here are some of my favorite quotes about choosing happiness!

Choose to be HAPPY
Thoughts from thought leaders…

"Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony."
– Mahatma Gandhi

"Want to be happy? Stop trying to be perfect."
– Brene Brown

“The happiness you feel is in direct proportion to the love you give.”
– Oprah Winfrey

“People tend to think that happiness is a stroke of luck, something that will descend like fine weather if you're fortunate. But happiness is the result of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it. You have to participate relentlessly.”
– Elizabeth Gilbert

“We tend to forget that happiness doesn’t come as a result of getting something we don’t have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have.”
– Frederick Keonig

“Life is made up of small pleasures. Happiness is made up of those tiny successes. The big ones come too infrequently. And if you don’t collect all these tiny successes, the big ones don’t really mean anything.”
– Norman Lear

“Happiness is letting go of what you think your life is supposed to look like
and celebrating it for everything that it is."
– Mandy Hal

"There is only one way to happiness and that is to cease worrying
about things which are beyond the power of our will."
– Epictetus

“The best way to cheer yourself up is to try to cheer somebody else up.”
– Mark Twain

“It isn’t what you have, or who you are, or where you are, or what you are doing
that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about.”
– Dale Carnegie

"Happiness is not a station you arrive at, but a manner of traveling."
 – Margaret Lee Runbeck

"True happiness is not attained through self-gratification,
but through fidelity to a worthy purpose."
– Helen Keller

Choose to be HAPPY!

Make it a HAPPY day!
