After a family road trip in June, I was struggling to create. I had seen such beautiful sights across our country that nothing I created seemed to meet my expectations.
I had expected that after such a spectacular trip that amazing artwork would be oozing out of me. I was inspired by my travels and I wanted to express it! I tried to recreate some of my photographs from the trip with maps and travel guides, but each time I found myself frustrated and disappointed.
So I put my maps and photos away and dug through my supplies. I tore pages out of a book, cut circles from some of my favorite papers and got lost in the process.
Olive's Poppies, I did in just one day. I got my groove back!
