A couple of years ago I created this Grace "inspire block" and I love the colors and repeating circles.
As I mentioned in a previous post, I have been dabbling in creating some surface design patterns with the plan of putting my artwork on products.
I have already added some products, like mugs, phone cases, pillows, bags, and shirts to my online shop. But, I have found that there are some AMAZING websites, like Redbubble and Society6 that offer an easy to use website that features independent artists' artwork on a wide variety of products - more products that I can offer on my own website!
So, on November 1, 2019 I will launch a Kim Dettmer Art Redbubble store, featuring at least 10 different design on tons of different items... just in time for the Christmas season. Until then, I will be working on artwork and adding new designs to my Redbubble store.
(FYI - this will not replace my current online store, here, it will just be another store in which my artwork will be available)
Today I added a new piece of art - a pattern created from the Grace "inspire block" - to the shop that I call Sunrise, Sunset.
Isn't it fun?!!?
And...check out how Sunrise, Sunset looks on a few of the products...
I think I am jazzed about how it looks...
And...I am going to have to create this pattern with a different color background too!
